Freedom of Information/Publication Scheme
Under Freedom of Information you have the right to access all recorded information held by ANGUSalive. The information we routinely make available and how to make a request for information are outlined below.
If you are looking to access personal information ANGUSalive may hold about you please visit the Data Protection page.
Publication Scheme (Guide to Information)
ANGUSalive, as a wholly owned company of Angus Council and therefore a Scottish Public Authority, is required by the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 to produce and maintain a publication scheme.
ANGUSalive has adopted the Model Publication Scheme 2013 produced by the Scottish Information Commissioner.
Our publication scheme (325 KB PDF) lets you know:
- the types of information we routinely make available;
- how to access it; and
- what it might cost.
Internet facilities are available at our libraries if you wish to access the publication scheme (325 KB PDF) or any other information online. To obtain a hard copy please visit one of our libraries.
Making a Request for Information
Where information is not available under the publication scheme or online you can make a request by emailing enquiries@angusalive.scot.
You should receive a response within 20 working days of receipt of your request.
We may ask you for clarification to help us find the information you are interested in. If the information you are looking for is already available to the public in other ways we will normally refer you back to that source.
There may be a charge for providing the information and some information is exempt from disclosure. You can find out more about exemptions on the Scottish Information Commissioner’s website.
If you are not happy with our response or how we dealt with your request, you can ask ANGUSalive for a review or ask the Information Commissioner’s Office to investigate.
