October Holiday Activities Guide 2017 programme

Published: Monday 21 August 2017

At ANGUSalive we are continuing to keep children healthy, active and creative this autumn, with a variety of activities from holiday camps to crafts and outdoor activities to help entertain and inspire young minds.

With six weeks to go, you may need a trick or a treat up your sleeve to help keep your little pumpkins entertained this October Holidays. ANGUSalive's October Holiday programme has a great choice of holiday activities from sports camps to a climbing wall course, mobile library events and a host of outdoor activities from some awesome archaeology to paddleboard taster sessions.

Our sport activities include gymnastics, trampolining, a Scottish Football Association camp as well as general sports camps or why not light up your little Jack-O-Lanterns with a climbing wall course.

Kids in Birkhill can also discover ANGUSalive's first rural programme of activities with our Sport and Craft Camp, which runs from 2-6 October from 9-5pm (with drop off from 8.30am and collection until 5.30pm). The camp promises a fun-filled week and will be based at Birkhill Millennium Hall and is open to children aged from 5 - 12 years. Activities range from a day out to the theatre, sports sessions including golf, athletics, bowling and tennis as well as craft making and a visit from the ANGUSalive mobile library.

For the book worms, Bookbug visits Murton Farm and you can find out what goes 'bump' in our libraries… or perhaps your young archaeologist can come and dig up the past with some awesome archaeology at our museums and your spell binder can discover what indeed went into the witches caldron with our countryside adventure team - or why not get the little goblins to try out some of their paddleboard taster sessions at Monikie Country Park - just watch out for the newts and toads!

Check out the holiday programme and get your little ones signed up today - with not-so-scary prices starting from £2.60 per activity and most activities either covered by a bACTIVE membership or at a membership reduced price, get your skeleton on and book today!

Bookings are now open online at www.angusalive.scot/tickets including the Birkhill Sport And Craft Camp and for bookings at the ANGUSalive sport centres please call the facilities direct (please see programme for specific details).
