ANGUSalive Board

Chairperson

Kenny Fraser Kenneth Fraser: Kenneth worked with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and operated extensively at the national level. He has in depth knowledge and understanding of Angus from his time in Tayside. Kenneth has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of corporate governance and strategic planning. Currently he is part-time lecturer in essential skills at Dundee and Angus College.

Vice-chair

Hannah Wahley Hannah Whaley: is Assistant Director for the University of Dundee’s Library and Learning Centre. She specialises in policy, service development and innovation within higher education teaching and research and has been a regular speaker at international conferences. A qualified software engineer, Hannah is also a former UK Learning Technologist of the Year and author of an award-winning series of children’s technology books.

Other board members

Ken McKay Ken McKay: Ken comes to Angus Alive following a successful career in education, specialising in the development and improvement of PE and sport in schools. A former Commonwealth Games athlete, Ken's sporting career in track and field has given him exceptional team building and team work skills as well as lengthy experience in sports administration.
David Moore David Moore: is originally from Nottingham but has lived in various towns and countries. He moved to Scotland in 2001 as his wife’s family is from the Highlands. David has been involved in the energy industry in various ways all his working life, from mining to oil & gas and heavy fabrication. He is delighted to join the ANGUSalive team and hopes that his experience in business outside of local government will be beneficial in going forward to a successful future.
Sandra Ross Sandra Ross: Sandra is an experienced Senior Manager with a background in Health and Social Care and is currently Managing Director with Bon Accord Care, a Local Authority Trading Company which provides older people’s services on behalf of Aberdeen City Council. Having worked for a number of organisations she brings skills in senior operational management and experience at Director level in executive and non-executive roles.
